
Bangkok Bank is giving away a limited edition Chelsea Football Club polo shirt to those opening a deposit account and applying for its Be1st Smart Rabbit Chelsea card.
The Chelsea “Blue Spirit” polo shirt is valued at Bt2,490, with 200,000 of them to be handed out. The bank said that under the offer, the passbook and debit card co-designed by the English soccer club is available with Bt900 in sign-up and annual fees.
“The card reflects the spirit of the Blues and is being issued to please Chelsea Football Club’s fans in Thailand and make all Blues fans proud,” Bangkok Bank said. “The convenient all-in-one card offers many privileges from Bangkok Bank, Chelsea Football Club, Rabbit, Thai Payment Network and UnionPay, with features for shopping, cash withdrawals and travel.
The offer lasts until March 31, 2018, or while stocks last.
YANGON TO BOOST POWER
Yangon authorities are drafting a master plan to ensure full power supply in the industrial zones of Myanmar’s key economic region.
Nilar Kyaw, Yangon Region’s Minister for Electricity, Industry and Transport, said the regional government was discussing with private companies way of boosting power supply in the region with Myanmar’s business capital at its heart.
“The regional government is also working to ensure small and medium-sized enterprises from home and abroad can rent land at fair prices,” she said. “Not only local investors but also foreign investors have discussed the high land rental rates with us. In a bid to upgrade the industrial zones, an industrial management committee is being formed to address garbage and sewage disposal issues and the water purification system.” - Myanmar Eleven
