Economy on target for 3.5% growth: Asia Plus

Asia Plus Securities believes the Thai economy will expand by 3.5 per cent in 2017 as forecast, after second-quarter growth reached 3.7 per cent, year on year.
There are visible positive signals from private-sector investment, which registered growth for the first time in the last three quarters, Asia Plus said on Friday. 
The export sector also recovered during the last five months, although imports grew at a faster pace than exports, the securities house added.
