BEC World president quits

BEC World has written to the Stock Exchange of Thailand to say its president Ariya Banomyong has resigned as of Monday (April 20).
Ariya took over as BEC president on April 18, 2019, at the invitation of vice chairman Prachum Maleenont, who stepped down on March 26 after reshaping the company, especially its Grammy branch, which was managed by Ariya.
Observers in the industry are wondering about the next step Ariya will take, whether he will return to traditional media or if he will challenge himself with overseeing the TV sector, which is in a crisis at the moment.
