AMLO agreement to check money laundering by cooperatives

THE Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Anti-Money Laundering Office (Amlo) yesterday to push forward the policy to prevent and suppress money laundering through cooperatives.
After the MoU signing, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister General Chatchai Sarikalaya said he believed the MoU would be useful for the Cooperative Promotion Department, the Cooperative Auditing Department and Amlo to work together and launch measures against money laundering.
