New Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhon will meet Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his Thai counterpart Don Pramudwinai during a two-day visit that starts today.
Prak, who assumed office in April, replacing Hor Namhong, will introduce himself to the Thai leaders as a follow-up to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen’s recent visit to Thailand, Sek Wannamethee, head of the Thai Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Department of Information, said.
The minister, previously minister of post and telecommunications, is visiting on the invitation of Don.
Tomorrow, Prak will meet Prayut at Government House and Don at the Foreign Ministry to discuss bilateral ties. Hun Sen visited in December, when he took part in a joint Cabinet retreat.
