Tributes to the King as park exhibition opens in Chiang Mai

STATE OFFICERS and residents in Chiang Mai, led by Prime Minister’s Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul, came together to mourn the passing King Bhumibol Adulyadej before opening the fourth roaming royal exhibition at Royal Park Rajapruek.

The group sang the Royal Anthem, signed condolence books and lit candles in remembrance of the much-loved King at the park’s Ho Kham Luang Royal Pavilion.
Panadda said the exhibition was being held in the Northern region for the first time to celebrate the 70th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne and the 84th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
“The exhibition is to express the loyalty of the Thai people and present the royal legacies that the late King and the Queen have given to the country such as the royal teachings, thoughts and works through 70 years during the reign of the much-revered King,” he said.
