Fitness studio announces new training programmes

BASE fitness studio next to BTS Thonglor has unveiled new training programmes and facilities, led by trainers who have hosted group and personal training classes since a soft launch in August last year.

BASE founder Jack Thomas is prioritising a data-driven approach to health and fitness that demonstrates how training and nutrition affect fitness and body composition, according to the company.
BASE’s approach to strength and high intensity interval training incorporates treadmills and bikes, as well as strength training tools like kettlebells and dumbbells. BASE also offers integrated nutritional programmes, products from brands such as Adidas and HARNN, and a training environment geared towards motivational thinking.
“Our team at BASE believes in fitness as a lifestyle, and we are pleased that BASE will offer something truly new to the industry that covers all the key fundamentals, but also adds further features to both enhance your training experience and help you hit your goals faster,” Thomas said.
“We recently introduced a revolutionary training concept for group class training called BASELINE, which shows you exactly how your training and nutrition are affecting your fitness, strength and body fat percentage – this helps us see exactly what’s working for you and what isn’t. We’ll then adjust your program until you’ve hit your goals.”
BASE’s newest class SPEED & ENDURANCE uses only treadmills, bikes and rowing machines for a cardio and core workout with results tracked and recorded. Class size is limited to nine people at a high level of cardiovascular fitness.
The classes available at BASE centre on high intensity interval training with variations based on cardio and strength training.
