Elderly nun saved from large python attack in Rayong

An 85-year-old Buddhist nun was attacked by a large python in a toilet at her temple in Rayong province on Sunday morning.
Monks and laymen saved Chin Darachan when she screamed for help at Wat Pak Praek in Moo 1 village in tambon Lahan of Rayong’s Pluak Daeng district.
The nun, who is just 120 centimetres tall, said when she went into the toilet the python bit her leg and wrapped itself around her legs.
After the attack she was taken to Pluak Daeng Hospital.
The snake was released into the wild.
