Army officers trained to pull chariot at King Bhumibol’s funeral

Royal Thai Army officers at the Bangkok military base have helped train more than 500 officers to pull the chariot to be used in the procession to the royal funeral pyre for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s cremation ceremony.

The funeral will consist of a five-day ceremony, including the royal cremation of King Bhumibol on October 26. King Bhumibol died in his 89th year in Siriraj Hospital on October 13.
