Singha Nakhon district chief Chawakit Suwankhiri said on Friday the farm was raising 709 crocodiles in 21 ponds, two of which were enclosed by earthen berms.
The animals that did not escape were moved to Chon Buri.
Chawakit said residents of the area had located and killed nine crocodiles and caught two alive, while employees of the farm had recaptured seven others.
The district office, police and local communities have teams looking for the five crocodiles remaining at large, each about two metres long, in the surrounding mangrove forests.
As of press time, the farm remained closed to visitors.
