Cost reductions boost Ingress first-half earnings

Ingress Industrial (Thailand) Pcl has reported first-half earnings of Bt91.2 million, showing 8 per cent growth from the same period last year.
The company reports revenue of Bt1.3 billion for the first six months, compared with revenues of Bt1.4 billion from same period last year.
Abdul Rahim bin Haji Hitam, chief executive officer of the auto parts maker, said that the company’s net profit margin also improved by 15 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year. 
“The main reason is that the company has successfully reduced its production and operating costs, even though the overall revenues slightly declined,” he said.
