Boy drowns in Ayutthaya canal looking for krathong coins

An eight-year-old boy drowned early on Saturday while he was swimming in an irrigation canal in Ayutthaya’s Wang Noi district hunting for coins in floating krathong.
Scuba divers from a rescue foundation took about an hour to comb the bed of the canal before they found the body of Jessada Liamlumpha.
Police said the boy swam out to collect krathongs on the canal in front of the Touch Houses real estate development with the hope
