
The bail was granted without conditions.
Rangsiman was brought to the Khon Kaen Police Station on Sunday for a speech he delivered at a forum on freedom of expression and the constitution at Khon Kaen University on July 31 last year. His participation in the forum and the content of the speech were seen as flouting laws.
Police told Rangsiman that he would have to face military prosecutors on March 23.
Rangsiman has faced several legal proceedings lately. On Saturday, he turned himself in to police in Bangkok to face charges related to his participation in a proelection assembly last month. He was also released on bail regarding the Bangkok case.
