Samut Prakan cycling event sees large turnout
Some 1,000 cyclists took part in a 30-kilometre ride in Samut Prakan City on Sunday morning.
The ride, which began at the city hall and passed key sites such as the Bang Pu Recreational Centre before concluding at the starting point, was held under the theme “Hor Kankha Chuan Pan Phua Nong Thong Muang Samut Prakan”, or “Chamber of Commerce’s Invitation to Cycle Around Samut Prakan City for Children”.
Funds raised from the event, after deduction of expenses, will be awarded as scholarships to underprivileged academically excellent students of 10 schools in the province. The event was hosted by Samut Prakan Chamber of Commerce, Samut Prakan province, Samut Prakan Provincial Administration and Nation Multimedia Group as well as allies.
