Mild quake happens in Chiang Mai

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was experienced in Chiang Mai’s San Sai district late Tuesday night, the Meteorological Department reported.
The Seismological Bureau of the department said the quake happened at 11pm with its epicentre being 1-kilometre deep and located at 18.98 degrees latitude and 99.00 longitude.
The earthquake was felt by residents in San Sai and Mae Rim districts.
On Saturday, a 1.9-magnitude earthquake was registered in San Sai at 6:26 pm.
