Grand Palace ringed with well-wishers

A large number of citizens wearing yellow massed along roads near the Grand Palace in Bangkok throughout Sunday morning to welcome His Majesty the King as he arrived at the Amarindra Vinichai Hall for ceremonies marking his 67th birthday.
Officers of the 1st Field Artillery Regiment of the King’s Guard meanwhile fired cannon in a 21-gun salute at Sanam Luang to commemorate the occasion.
