The same people financing the XPrize, the multimillion-dollar endowment for spacecraft research, are now are offering two new prizes worth $10 million each for a device capable of rendering carbon from coal or gas into a form suited to practical uses.
Ten finalists will each get $500,000 to develop their ideas. It’s expected to take four and a half year to decide on the winners. Are there any Thai scientists, engineers or chemists who might want to enter?
