How about giving foreign residents free visa extensions in return for regular donations of blood to Thailand’s public hospitals?
You can give blood every 10 weeks, or five times per year. Regular donations could be considered equivalent to the 90-day reporting.
Donors would merely need to present the hospital record of their donation at Immigration to get the extension. The result would be a win-win situation, with donor, hospital, Immigration and blood recipient all benefiting.
Off course, normal requirements for foreign retirees regarding monthly income or money in the bank would still apply.
