Working conditions need further improvement

The 2013 Rana Plaza accident has at least led to the talk of improving workers’ rights and working conditions in the garment trade.
Even a couple of years ago, most garment factories were hot and humid environments resembling prisons and often lacked basic safety measures like emergency exits in case of fire and proper ventilation in the enclosed workplaces. Many owners were unconcerned about it and we wonder if the same conditions continue even now.
