Thailand’s top player Pruchya Isarow dropped only one game to vanquish Indian Prabodh Suraj 6-0 6-1 in the quarter-finals of the US$5,000 Grimm ATT Thailand Series at True Arena Hua Hin on Tuesday.
Pruchya, runner-up from the Singha TATP event in Bangkok on Sunday, will next take on Phassawit Burapharitta who upset Indian top seed Vishnu Vardhan 6-4 3-6 7-6 (7-5) after two hours and 30 minutes of battle.
In the other quarter-final actions, Jirat Navasirisomboon trounced young rival Natthasith Kunsuwan 6-2 6-0 to set up a showdown with Indonesian Aditya Hari Sasongko who stunned second seed Karunday Singh of India 6-0 6-1.
