In the singles quarter-finals, top seed Hong Seong Chan of South Korea toppled Japanese Renta Tokuda 6-1 6-4. Indian N. Sriram Balaji reached back-to-back semi-finals after he stunned second seed Antione Escoffier of France 7-6 (7-2) 6-2.
Joining Balaji in the last four was third seed N. Vijay Sundar Prashanth who spent 68 minutes to move past Yusuke Takahashi of Japan 6-4 6-3.
Fourth seed Lee Kuan-Yi of Taiwan booked the last semi-final spot following a 6-0 6-4 win over Yuichi Ito of Japan.
