The Chulalongkorn University student again proved that he was the one to beat in the ATT series. With solid baseline game and the will to win, he barely gave opportunities for the left-handed Phassawit, the man he had also beaten in the circuit 4 final.
“I was playing well. I focused on my serves and service returns with accuracy. My groundstrokes were quite solid. I hardly made errors,” said Pruchya who missed only the fifth circuit as he had to take a midterm exam in Bangkok.
“I’m proud to have won all five circuits I entered. It will give me a good boost going to the next event,” added Pruchya who received the winner’s prize money of US$900.
Due to his most outstanding results in all of the six Thai series, Pruchya is, as a result, awarded a wildcard into an ATP Challenger in Pune which is due in the next two weeks.
