With the Oscars done and dusted for another year, film fans can turn their attention to the Academy’s Thai equivalent, the Subhanahongsa awards, which will be announced on Sunday (March 5) at Kbank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theatre.
SF World Cinema at Central World is gearing up for the big event by screening all five nominations for best picture at a special price in the “Subhanahongsa Showcase”.
The screenings got underway on February 28 with Boonsong Nakphu’s low-budget film about Buddhism “Thudongkhawat” (“Wandering”).
