Who are the real fascists?

Fascist nonsense, or liberal socialist nonsense? I like to read both kinds of nonsense, thank you, Mr John S. I like to make up my own mind where the real sense may lie.
In his diatribe against JC Wilcox, John S trots out the usual left-wing mantras – “extremist right wing”, “fascist tendencies” – to attack
European politicians who still believe in the nation state and who are concerned with the rapidly deteriorating quality of life of their citizens under the EU. It would be interesting to hear John’s view on the activities of the so-called Antifa – anti-fascists who make violent attacks on peaceful right-wing demonstrations on a weekly basis. Now there’s an irony – who are the real fascists? Just check out such incidents on YouTube and make up your own mind.
I enjoy JC Wilcox’s letters, which, in my view, express common sense and a sound understanding of what’s going on in the world. But my view is irrelevant. Both Thailand’s English-language dailies are left-leaning, but the good name of The Nation, far from being “dragged through the mud”, is enhanced by publishing alternative views in letters and articles that would get spiked by its competitor. The words “balanced reporting” come to mind. Thanks to that, we get a much more vibrant read.
To John S and JC Wilcox – keep on writing, and to The Nation – keep up the good work!
