
The first round leader was hitting nine under after six holes during the second round yesterday before play was suspended due to rain. His midway score was 15 under-par-125.
“I was hitting well but I wished that I could have putted better. The weather condition made it a bit tough for me especially yesterday because the greens were wet. But this morning the condition was better,” said the 23-year-old from Tak, winner of the second All Thailand Tour stop in Rayong two months ago.
“My game plan is to hit the fairways and read the lies better. I hope to shoot more scores to stay in contention,” added the big-hitting player.
Three stroke behind was Pattaraphol Khanthacha who finished his round since Friday with a 64 and a total 12 under-par-128.
Rain still plays havoc in Phuket on Saturday morning while the third round actions have yet to start.
