Roller and Kampol called for King's Cup

 German-Thai Philip Roller of Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC and Kampol Pathom-Attakul of BEC Tero Sasana are the two new faces recruited for the 25-member King’s Cup national team list announced yesterday.

The 23-year-old defender who was transferred from his Austria Lustenau last month and the 24-year-old goal keeper Kampol are the surprise choices picked up national coach  Milovan Rajevac for the four-nation exhibition tournament which is due between July 14 – 16 at the Rajamangala National Stadium.

 While two main strikers Teerasil Dangda and Adisak Kraisorn, both from SCG Muang Thong United, are in the list, the famous Chanathip Songkrasin has not been selected and is allowed to adjust to his new team Consadole Sapporo in Japan.

All players will be encamped at the Kiarti Thanee Country Club on July before the final cut of 23 players will be decided later.

Thailand will start their campaign on Friday 14 against North Korea at 7.30pm while Belarus will face Burkina Faso in the curtain-raiser at 4.30pm while the third place play-off and final is due on Sunday 16. Thai Rath TV will beam live all four games.
