Hun Sen is the ultimate tyrant and decorated criminal and human abuser. These two really fit well.

Little surprise that the two countries get on so well now that democracy has virtually died in Cambodia as well.

Maybe to make it easier for fleeing politicians and others who upset the government. How long before there will be casinos on the Cambodian side of every crossing?
