A few days ago Supoj was handed a 10-month prison sentence and had Bt64 million worth of goods seized due to “failure to declare assets” while in office. If we assume his wealth was confiscated because it was not earned but rather illegally obtained, then Supoj is guilty of theft to the tune of Bt64 million. How are we then expected to understand that the man who stole a part of the money that Supoj stole was handed a prison sentence almost 23 times greater.
