Luksika suffers another Wang jinx

Chinese Wang Qiang still remained a pebble in the shoes of Thai No 1 Luksika Kumkhum after she gave the Thai her a sixth straight defeat in the second round of the US$500,000 WTA Hong Kong Open on Thursday.
Despite impressive form that led her to a big upset win over world No 19 Elena Vesnina of Russia on Tuesday, Luksika was no where near her best against the 48th ranked opponent as she was overwhelmed with unforced errors before losing 4-6 4-6.
moreover the Thai later suffered another defeat to the Chinese as she and Peangtarn Plipuech lost to Wang and Jia-Jing Lu 6-4 6-7 (4-7) 7-10 in the doubles quarter-finals.
