Last week, California’s lawmakers succumbed to LGBT intolerance by signing a new law whereby one can be imprisoned for up to a year for not addressing a person by his or her “preferred pronoun”. The truth of the person’s sex as determined by XX or XY chromosomes is irrelevant; what matters is the person’s “perceived gender identity”.
In court one is required to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and the wilful submission of false evidence constitutes perjury. A biologically male plaintiff, no matter how much his genitalia have been rearranged, how much silicone is inserted into his chest, how many hormone pills he has eaten, and how pretty he looks in his makeup and miniskirt, is still in truth a man. If the prosecution, defence or witnesses refer to him as “she” or “her”, they are uttering a falsehood by replacing a truth with an opinion. Are they not guilty of perjury? And in this ridiculous charade, is not the hapless defendant the only person in court who is innocent?
The LGBT tyranny is spiralling out of control. Having got their cake and eaten it, the LGBT-ers demand to eat everyone else’s cake as well. They have succeeded in changing the definition of marriage to exclude the words “man and woman” and “husband and wife” in the Oxford, Merriam-Webster, Larousse and other dictionaries; they are pressuring Christianity to abandon the Scripture; they demand parenthood rights; and now with this ludicrous pronoun campaign they are corrupting law and language itself. They are of course free to identify themselves privately as male, female, soi dog, Big Mac, tuk-tuk or whatever they want, but tolerance is a two-way street. They would gain a lot more sympathy from the heterosexual majority if they didn’t insist on ramming their values down our throats 24/7 and undermining institutions that have served society well for thousands of years.
