Unfair calls in the savage letters arena
Alf Haupt blames Somsak Pola’s attacks against JC Wilcox as being the reason Wilcox stopped writing letters to this newspaper.
I’m jealous! I thought I was the reason!
When Wilcox constantly wrote letters accusing those of us who oppose Donald Trump of being part of a leftist international conspiracy to impose a new world order on all mankind, what kind of response did Wilcox expect?
Numerous people have accused me of being too hard-hitting.
Yet, as I recently noted, not one of those hypocrites complained when someone had a letter in this newspaper saying I should be punched in the mouth. Nor were there any complaints when someone wrote a letter to another newspaper calling me a sissy simply because I’m a male vegan.
I have found that, even when I write polite and civil letters, my critics are no less nasty and mean-spirited in their responses.
The idea that if I were only a little nicer, everyone else would be nicer too is total nonsense. Grow up!
