Beware the ‘libertarian’ who would deny freedoms to others

In response to my letter, Nigel Pike assures us he has nothing against gays, Muslims and vegetarians. Let’s examine his positions on these people.
He tells us gays are his friends, yet does not believe they have the same rights as he does, such as the right to get married.
He’s fine with Muslims as long as they don’t practise their religion. That’s like saying he’s fine with Democrats if they promise not to vote.
And of course he loves vegetarians as long as they keep their mouths shut. Yet he doesn’t make that demand of the meat and dairy industries, or of McDonald’s and KFC, who are certainly not shy about telling us what to eat.
Yet Mr Pike has the audacity to call himself a “libertarian”. Give me a break!
