
Police and special operations officers were responding to a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School on Friday morning (August 7), with initial reports indicating that several people had been injured.
The incident was reported at about 10am at the school in Bang Kruai district, Nonthaburi province. Officers from Plai Bang Police Station and the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Special Operations Unit were working to bring the situation under control.
Parents and members of the public have been asked to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to carry out their duties.
The school said it would issue an official statement, while further information would be released as soon as it was confirmed by the relevant authorities. The number and condition of those reportedly injured had not yet been officially confirmed.

Incident details: A shooting has occurred inside the school. The suspect is believed to be a student and has not yet been apprehended. The suspect remains inside the school and is believed to be armed with a handgun. The Arintaraj 26 counter-terrorism unit and the Provincial Police Region 1 Special Operations Unit have arrived at the scene.
