
Chao Phraya river boat services will change on August 17, 20 and 27, with some routes suspended from noon for Royal Barge Procession rehearsals.
The changes come as the Marine Department is set to prohibit all vessels from passing between Krung Thon Bridge (Sang Hi) Pier and Memorial Bridge Pier during the rehearsals.
The changes involve services operated by Chao Phraya Express Boat Co Ltd, Chao Phraya Tourist Boat Co Ltd and Supatra Boat Co Ltd.
Chao Phraya Express Boat will adjust its passenger boat timetable on Monday (August 17) and Thursdays (August 20 and 27) during rehearsals for the Royal Barge Procession. The timetable for Monday is as follows:

Daytime Yellow Flag, Nonthaburi–Wat Ratcha Singkhon
Nonthaburi–Payap
Wat Ratcha Singkhon–Ratchawong

Timetables for Thursdays, August 20 and 27, will be announced later.

Chao Phraya Tourist Boat’s Blue Flag service on the Phra Athit–Sathorn route will be suspended from noon on August 17, 20 and 27.
Supatra Boat ferry services will also stop operating from noon on those dates on the following routes: Tha Phra Chan–Wang Lang, Tha Maharaj–Wang Lang, Tha Chang–Wang Lang, Tha Chang–Wat Rakhang and Riva Arun (Wat Pho)–Wat Arun.
Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
