Dr Pawat Vitoorapakorn, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Polymer Group Public Company Limited or EPG, the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of polymer and processed plastic products, recently stated that the world currently faces a situation that causes volatility, uncertainty, and complexity.
EPG has announced that net profit in the first quarter of its current fiscal year (ended June 16) jumped by 32 per cent year on year to Bt381.1 million.
EASTERN Polymer Group has set a revenue target for its 2016-17 fiscal year at Bt10 billion to Bt11 billion, with a budget of Bt2 billion for capital expenditure and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to strengthen all three of EPG’s core businesses.
