Ten foreigners were arrested during searches in 45 areas of Bangkok in what police have called their "Black Eagles" operation late Wednesday night.

The wildlife crime suppression taskforce known as “Yiaw Dong” raided booths trading animals near several temples in Bangkok, including Erawan Shrine on Thursday, arresting at least 10 people trading in protected species and seizing more than 300 turtles and birds.
