The trial for China's inaugural case on AI-generated voice rights commenced at the Beijing Internet Court. It will determine if an AI-mimicked voice qualifies as an individual's original voice and assess if the technology violates the person's right to voice.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha reiterated on Monday that the Constitutional Court will decide when he will reach the eight-year limit of his premiership.
