The project targets a 30-per-cent increase in the production of organic sugar cane by Wangkanai Group within the next three to five years.
Siam Kubota says using its agricultural machinery in sugar-cane farming can enhance efficiency, lower capital expenditure, increase production and make the most use of available resources in compliance with government policies in promoting agriculture.
Boonyarit Na Wangkanai, general manager of Wangkanai Group, said the project was being launched to help organic-sugar-cane farmers, and to support government policies regarding organic and safe agriculture.
