TOT warns over fake emails

Telecommunications company TOT has warned its customers to be aware of phishing emails.
Recently, fake e-mails have been circulating claiming that TOT is merging with Telenor and offering discounts for customers.
The e-mails ask the customer to update their personal information including name and credit-card number, saying that failure to do so within 28 days would result in account termination.
“TOT would like to clarify that such e-mails are not sent by TOT. Please do not believe in such e-mails,” the company said in a statement.” Those who receive such e-mails should ignore and immediately delete the e-mails.”
