Cameraman’s tribute to ‘kind, tireless’ Princess

The Nation’s photographer, Charoon Thongnual, has recounted with great admiration the tireless efforts of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in performing royal activities during her visit to the South from June 12 to 17.
Charoon, who covered the Princess’s trip, said the royal had at least 30 appointments and on some days during the trip she even flew back to Bangkok and returned the next morning. The Princess attended all the activities with great attention to detail and took a lot of notes and photos, he says on his Facebook.
“HRH the Princess always smiles with kindness while she is being briefed and while talking to loyal subjects who gather to welcome her. Because of the hot weather her face is often soaked with sweat. I’m lucky to have had the opportunity, as a media member, to take photos of her royal activities,” Charoon said on his page.
