Fifa opens proceedings against Worawi

Fifa’s ethics committee has opened formal proceedings against former president of the Thailand FA and former Fifa executive committee member Worawi Makudi, based on the final report submitted by Fifa investigators.
In their report on Worawi, Fifa investigators have recommended he be banned from all football-related activity for no less than four years and fined 25,000 Swiss francs (Bt886,000) for violation of Fifa’s general rules of conduct, loyalty, forgery and falsification, and the obligation of the parties to collaborate.
Worawi will now be invited to submit his position, including any evidence with regard to the final report of the investigators, and may request a Fifa hearing.
