The question asked in the headline might receive a positive answer if human beings’ existence could be guided by genuine solidarity in 2017.
There is no doubt that next year will be a turbulent and tumultuous one, demanding challenging choices and difficult decisions at every imaginable level. Therefore, authentic solidarity and a strong sense of moral responsibility must act not only as vital ethical imperatives, but also as crucial prerequisites for a prosperous, peaceful and secure life in all societies.
