The Thai FA was fined US$30,000 by the Asian Football Confederation last month as punishment for a group of ultras lighting flares during the Asean Championship final second leg against Indonesia at home in December, which Thailand won 2-0 to clinch the title with a 3-2 aggregate.
The association asked authorised agent ThaiTicketMajor to rescind tickets already sold for the “S” Zone after finding evidence some were being bought by or for troublemakers.
ThaiTicketMajor will refund ticket-holders who supply an ID card and bank account number within 14 days, starting Friday until March 1. Call (02) 262 3456 for more information.
The FA will redistribute the cancelled tickets to school and university students. To apply for the tickets, send your request to [email protected].
