
The 31-year-old from Hua Hin with five birdies against two bogeys fired a combined 18 under-par-266 at the par 71 7,223 yard course. His previous Thai PGA wins were in 2007 and 2014 at the Burapha Golf Club and at the Panorama Golf & Resort.
“It feels good to be back in the winning circle again after a long time. It’s a present not only for me but for everyone who supports me,” said Kwanchai who just had a son three months ago. He received the winner’s prize money of Bt240,000.
Following at joint second were Raththee Sirithanakunsak and Sutijet Kooratanapisan after each fired a final of 65 and 67 respectively for 269s. Each also took home the runner’s-up prize money of Bt108,600.
The next and fourth series of the Thai PGA Tour will take place at the Water Mill Golf and Garden in Nakhon Nayok between Junly 12-15.
